Privacy policy

The site has no accounts or comments. The only form is the save sheet on the backyard pod planner. Until saving by email is switched on, the planner on our public pages shows no form and asks for nothing. Once it is, you can save your design by email and, if you tick a separate box, join our updates list. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond to your enquiry.

On advertising pages, clicking a merchant button records the product page, the merchant link clicked, campaign identifier when present, time, the country the visit came from, and the browser, operating system and device the browser reports. On our brand review pages it records the same, without the country and browser details. Ordinary draft and editorial source links do not create these click records. We do not attach information from email enquiries to click records.

The WorkPod and Truoba budget worksheets, the Truoba plan finder, the checklists and the backyard pod planner run in your browser. Your photo stays on your device, and nothing you type leaves it. Once saving by email is switched on, only what you choose to save leaves it, as described below. We do not save your entries between visits. Choosing Download creates a text file or a picture on your device.

The WorkPod guide offers a YouTube video. Its player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you choose to load it; we do not load a YouTube thumbnail first. Loading or playing the video connects your browser to YouTube, which receives technical information such as your IP address and applies its own privacy and cookie policies. You can also open the video directly on YouTube.

Saving by email is not switched on yet, and the planner on our public pages does not offer it. This section is written first so the rules are on record before the first design is saved, and it describes what will apply from then.

What we keep: the finished picture (it includes your yard photo as it looks on your screen, with a drawing of the pod on it), the choices you made, your first name if you gave one, and a scrambled version of your email address, a keyed code that we cannot turn back into the address. We never receive your original photo file. We keep all of it for 60 days and then delete it. The email we send contains a link to the design that works until then, and anyone who has that link can see the design, so share it only with people you choose. The picture is the one thing a visitor chooses, so the design page says it was uploaded by whoever saved the design and not made by us, and a Report button on it hides a design at once while we look.

Your email address itself is kept only if you tick the separate updates box. Until you click the confirm link in the email, that request is held for at most 14 days and then deleted, and we send you nothing. Every update carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing, or choosing to stop all mail, erases the address. We keep the scrambled code on a do-not-mail list so that nothing is sent to it again, and we keep the wording you agreed to and the dates. A confirmed address stays on the list for up to 730 days after you confirm, and is then erased in the same way unless you ask to join again by saving another design. After you unsubscribe, the same address cannot be signed up again for 30 days, so that nobody else can put it back.

To limit abuse we count requests by a scrambled version of your network address (for an IPv6 address, only its first half) for about a day: a daily clean-up deletes those counts, so they are gone within two days at the most. A daily count of how many design emails went out holds a number and nothing that identifies anyone. So that the "stop all mail" link in your email keeps working after the design itself is deleted or has expired, we keep a scrambled code of that link beside a scrambled code of the mailbox, and nothing else, for 730 days. Our database provider's backups may hold deleted designs for their own backup window, and our hosting provider's request logs can include the address of a design link you open, which contains the secret part of the link, for the provider's own log window.

Who handles it: Resend sends the email and keeps a copy of each message, including the links in it, under its own policy. Supabase stores the data. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person when you open the save sheet, and sees technical details from your browser under Cloudflare's own policy.

To delete a design, open the link in the email and choose Delete my design, or Stop all mail to this address to remove everything saved with it. You can also write to hello@bigticketguide.com and we will delete it within 7 days.

When we run ads to reach this site, a Meta (Facebook) pixel may load on the page. It reports standard events, such as that the page was viewed and that an outbound link was clicked, back to Meta, subject to Meta's own data policy and your settings there. When no ad campaign is configured, no pixel loads at all.

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. The Meta pixel, when present, uses Meta's cookies under Meta's policy. When you open the save sheet, Cloudflare Turnstile runs under Cloudflare's policy and may use its own browser storage. Merchant sites you click through to set their own cookies under their own policies, including the cookie that credits this site for a purchase.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Click records and saved designs are stored in a Postgres database run by Supabase, our database provider. We do not sell data. We share it only with the providers named here, and we use it only to understand which pages work and, if you save a design, to email it to you.
